MindMapping - Part 1 of To Kill a Mockingbird

We will be doing a collaborative MindMapping!

What is MindMapping you say? It is simply a diagram to visually outline information - starting from a center node and going outward. Let's follow these steps as we go:

1- Sign up for a free account here:  Slatebox.com

2- Visit our To Kill a Mockingbird Slatebox --> http://slatebox.com/share/burtelle

3- In your assigned groups you will map out the events of To Kill a Mockingbird from the point-of-view of your assigned character.

  • Scout Finch: Gabriela, Ean, and Celeste
  • Jem Finch: Angel, Claudia, and Roberto
  • Atticus Finch: Diana, Ellen, and Lucia
  • Boo Radley: Maria Luisa, Carolina, Sharon, and Laura

You will see the fruits of your labor below:

We have been using Padlet to continue our journey through To Kill a Mockingbird together-

Part 1 - Chapters 1-11
We have been answering the following questions:
What elements represent the themes of Racial Prejudice, Justice, or Courage? What intrigues you? What questions do you have of the characters? REMEMBER TO ALWAYS STATE THE PAGE NUMBER.

You can download your condensed Sticky Notes for Chapters 1-3 here,  Chapters 4-6 here, Chapters 7-9, and Chapters 10 & 11.

Part 2 - Chapters 12-31
Each Padlet will have a different set of discussion questions.
